Children’s Social Care Worker of the Year 2021
We are very PROUD
“Children’s Social Care Worker of the Year 2021”
Our very own South Somerset Team Supervising Social Worker Trudi has been nominated for this prestigious award by a 12 year old young person whom she supports alongside the foster parents who care for her. They will both be attending the awards ceremony together to receive the award in July and there have already been discussions about dressing up for the event and both are very excited.
Jon Richards says: As Trudi’s Team Manager, I know how much effort and emphasis Trudi puts upon building positive and meaningful relationships with all of our young people and their foster parents. The mere fact that this young person has nominated Trudi speaks volumes about how she values the relationship that they have; built on trust, honesty and dependability. As a Social Worker, this is such an important accolade to receive as it means we are getting it right for our young people. Well done Trudi and very well deserved indeed!
