Welcome
Welcome to the North East team. We support wonderful fostering families in Nottinghamshire, Nottingham City, Hull, Lincolnshire, Chesterfield and Sheffield.
We work with amazing, local families who welcome children from their communities into their homes and their hearts. It is so important that children can stay within the communities that are familiar to them, where possible.
At Fusion we believe that children and young people should grow up with the right support to allow them to be healthy, safe and achieve their potential in life. We cannot do this on our own, having more local carers means that more children are cared for right here in their home towns.

Introducing Our Regional Manager
Sarah is the Registered Manager of the North East Team and has been with Fusion Fostering since 2012, after qualifying as a social worker in 2011. Sarah has a passion for fostering and works hard to ensure that our families are well supported to welcome a child to their home and their hearts.
Leading an experienced and dedicated team of social workers and support workers, Sarah’s focus is upon delivering high quality local care for local children. This is achieved by ensuring that our amazing foster carers are provided with the best support and training available.
Support and Services
We offer round the clock support, 14 days annual leave, plus and amazing local carer community.
As standard our families receive weekly support from a dedicated and experienced team of supervising social workers and a support worker.
What to expect: We are here when you need us. At Fusion we support you to understand the children you care for and provide you with the training, support and development you need to care for children in a therapeutic manner.
We have a strong community of families, and we love to get together monthly for a cuppa and cake. This gives us the opportunity to share experiences and have a laugh together. As well as our monthly groups we like to all go on trips together with all the children, most recently to the Yorkshire wildlife park.
Your supervising social work team is there for you, we are always available on the phone, to visit you and to complete monthly supervisions. We understand the changes welcoming a child to your family can bring and ensure wrap around support is in place for you. We are also there to celebrate the joy with you, as good support is about being there in the good times too.
